WORK WITH US
ARC Collective is a not-for-profit community space in Islington, supporting people to live healthier, more connected lives through movement, creativity, and care.
We offer a wide range of classes, workshops and events that support physical and mental wellbeing, from yoga and strength training to sound baths, storytelling, and seasonal celebrations. Our space is shaped by local people and powered by community spirit. Every membership, booking or workshop helps fund free and low-cost opportunities for neighbours in need. At ARC, we believe that everyone deserves a space to belong. By showing up for yourself, you’re helping create a kinder, more connected community, right here on your doorstep.

Children’s Art Teacher
We’re on the lookout for a warm, creative and experienced children’s art teacher to deliver a weekly class for local children at our community venue. You’ll bring play, imagination and structure to each session, nurturing young artists through joyful, hands-on activities. The role also includes occasional family workshops and holiday sessions — so we’re looking for someone who can build rapport with both children and grown-ups, and who loves making a colourful mess in the name of creativity!
-
Storyteller (or Storytelling Collective)
We’re seeking a dynamic storyteller to bring stories to life for both children and adults — in our cosy indoor venue and in a site-specific capacity in our garden spaces. We welcome traditional and folktale-inspired storytelling, as well as heritage stories and personal narratives that reflect the rich cultural diversity of our local community. This opportunity is open to solo storytellers, performers, actors or small collectives who’d like to collaborate on something magical.
-
Creative Writing Tutor (Adults)
We’re seeking an inspiring creative writing tutor to guide adults through the pleasures and challenges of putting pen to paper. You’ll lead sessions that balance free expression with helpful structure, supporting participants in exploring their voice — whether they’re just starting out or working on a novel. Ideally, you’ll bring your own writing experience to the table (with a publication under your belt already), as well as a passion for inclusive, supportive group facilitation.
Skilled Volunteering
We are always looking for skilled volunteers who would consider taking on a task to help our small and very busy team.
We are actively seeking volunteers to help with administration tasks, marketing, social media, bid-writing, event planning and photography and videography.
Email us if you’d like to offer your time for one of the tasks listed above.
To apply to any of the roles above, please send your CV and a short covering letter to Clêr at cler@arccollective.co
