Welcome to Create
The place where you’ll soon find a mix of arts and crafts and community creativity
We’re starting small, but our vision is big: to build a home for slow crafting, for making visual, written and performative arts and for sustainable choices and reusing materials.
Our schedule will build slowly but please support us by joining an activity so together we build a varied and full schedule of creativity open to everyone in our community.

Restoration Ldn
Restoration London is an independent organisation focused on sustainability in fashion. We run workshops in London and Margate, teaching people to mend, recycle, and upcycle garments — giving clothes a second life and encouraging creativity and mindfulness in the process.
Founder Hannah Porter graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2015 and trained in knitwear through a British Fashion Council traineeship. She has worked for leading brands and teaches knitwear design at Central Saint Martins, sharing her knowledge with the next generation of makers.
Through this work, Hannah witnessed the damaging social and environmental impacts of the fashion industry. This inspired her to establish Restoration London, with the aim of redesigning with purpose and supporting a circular, zero-waste economy.
By combining traditional textile methods with contemporary design, Restoration London helps people learn valuable skills, reduce waste, and reconnect with the stories their clothes can hold.
